Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our entire organization uses Guru to organize and streamline resources and communication. We're able to effectively store and share important documents and resources and it is very user friendly. I lead a team, and utilize Guru both as a source of Truth and in creating content to share with my team.

Formatting has historically been a bit clunky, but that has improved over time.
Sometimes the search feature can be tricky (but perhaps that points to authors adding more/better tags).
Organizing cards can sometimes be tricky, especially if you don't publish cards frequently.

Usability

Guru is a solid tool for organizing company resources and communications. Many features that were historically a little tricky have evolved over time and have made Guru the source of truth for our company in terms of most up to date standard operating procedures and company policies, standards and values.

I have not used or evaluated other products, because Guru has been effective and efficient for the last two companies I have worked for.

It is perfect for storing and organizing communication and resources for a primarily remote company. We are able to organize cards and restrict access to only allow pertinent content to be accessible to the proper departments. This reduces overwhelm and helps us stay organized and efficient in communication and resource sharing.
