Gusto Does Payroll and Onboarding With Gusto!
Overall Satisfaction with Gusto
We use it for the onboarding of new employees and payroll. I used it myself when I was initially hired and it was great! My employer had uploaded an employee handbook that clearly specified everything from how to request time off, access payroll info, health insurance, and retirement saving plans. Gusto made it easy to keep track of all the documents and it's very user-friendly. I also very much enjoy that new employees receive a virtual welcome card that their new team members have signed. Very welcoming!
Pros
- Payroll
- Onboarding
- PTO requests
Cons
- Link to pages with information on what's covered in your medical and dental insurance plans
- Payroll management
- Onboarding record keeping
- OOO calendar
- Given time back to our accountants
My employer had already selected Gusto. I would say it's about the same, but the UX is better. TriNet has a better benefit page that clearly breaks down what is included in your insurance. I got a much better monthly payment for similar health insurance with Gusto than I did with TriNet though which was surprising since one of TriNet's selling points is their benefit plans.
