Overall Satisfaction with Heap

Used by my direct organization, I use it for reporting customer insights on our website. We create online courses and I use it to make decisions on future courses.

Pros

  • Customer insights.
  • Forecasting.

Cons

  • Can be difficult to use.
  • You have to know what you're doing, can't just poke around, for it to be effective.
  • Positive: easy to understand once we got it set up by our dev.
  • Positive: easy to track customer insights over time.
Documentation is good, and it seems to have set a high standard in the industry.

Heap is well suited for looking at customer engagement on various pages and predicting future customer use based on historical data. It is not suited for a non-technical person who doesn't know what they're doing or what they're looking for.
