Overall Satisfaction with Heap

Heap is used across the product organization by Product Managers, UX Designers, and engineering to answer questions about how users interact with our applications and to measure the success of new features. It is also used in tandem with Appcues to measure in-app messaging impact. We also use their Snowflake connect offering to pipe data into Looker to analyze further and marry with other internal data.
  • Heap makes it simple to define elements in your application to track engagement with.
  • Heap is great because it's always tracking everything so you don't have to define everything you want to track immediately. The data is always there for you to investigate.
  • Support is great and perhaps the thing that is most valuable. They're always happy to help you in whatever you're trying to achieve with Heap.
  • The visualization options and flexibility of the data analysis could be more robust.
  • Email notifications for new events that need verification would be helpful.
  • Understanding engagement of features to inform us on where users are spending time.
  • Allows us to measure the impact of Appcues flows.
  • Increased conversion rates for additional services we provide.
Heaps makes it easy for users to both define elements and analyze them. There is great training to get people feeling comfortable and great support as well.
It's very stable and queries run quickly.

Heap is great for business users because it's easy to understand how to define events and then to quickly investigate how users are interacting with those defined events. Heap provides online training that sets people up for success and gets them into the tool right away. When there is more complexity in what you are trying to measure, the team at Heap is there to help you and is quick to respond.
