Overall Satisfaction with Heap
I implemented Heap mainly to start automated, hassle-free instrumentation of our products. Currently it's implemented across all our sellable products, and we have internal users who consume the reports across all departments like product, engineering, sales, and CS.
Two main problems: learning what our customers are doing and instrumentation without engineering's help.

Pros
- Out-of-the-box and automated tracking
- Really good reports that you can subscribe or get alerted on
- Dashboards
- Automatic event tracking
Cons
- All their exports need a lot of work. The output is really not useful.
- Email reports are also not useful and actionable.
- Event tracking is nice but lots of room to go wrong.
- Increased engagement
- Increased our ability to build new features or EOL
- Increased awareness within the organization
