Overall Satisfaction with Heap
We use Heap to better understand how our users are interacting with our software product.
This allows us to get insights that we would not have without Heap and allows us to make educated product decisions based on actual user behavior.
We also use Heap to track the success of new features and gauge feature adoption over time.
Lastly, we have recently started using Heap's "Watch Session" feature, which has allowed us to actually watch users interact with our product.
This has made it even easier to track success and make confident product decisions.

Pros
- Event Tracking (Clicks, Views, etc.)
- Visualizing Data
- Watching User Sessions
- Creating shared reporting views
- Funnel metrics
Cons
- The event visualizer is sometimes difficult to use.
- Occasionally heap reports will not match the data in our database, which lowers my overall confidence in Heap.
- I'm not 100% certain what is triggering certain events due to event visualizer difficulties.
We selected Heap due to its simplicity in creating events as well as creating reporting on those events.
No other tool comes close to the simplicity and ease of using Heap.
