Overall Satisfaction with HireVue

It is being used as an interview knockout tool across the global organization to help us better screen candidates earlier in the interview process. It is helping us reduce cycle time in our hiring process, save travel fees by eliminating pre-mature in-person interviews, and provide our recruiters and hiring managers with deeper insights earlier in the hiring process.

Pros

  • Screens candidates quickly and efficiently
  • Provides deeper insights into a candidate's personality, communication skills, and cultural fit earlier in the hiring process
  • Reduces cycle time
  • Super simple, intuitive and easy to use

Cons

  • Better reporting
  • More ability to customize templates and system set-up
  • Ability to require ratings and recommendations from evaluators
  • Eliminated travel costs where a digital interview would suffice
  • Provided deeper candidate insights to recruiters and hiring managers sooner in the hiring process
  • Sped up the time to first interview
  • Knocked out unqualified candidates sooner in the process
HireVue is recruiting specific, where as the others are not. I didn't select HireVue, but I am glad my team did.
It is particularly well suited for new to career positions, especially those in high-volume.

We want HireVue to be a seamless and flawless experience. Please let me know how you would like reporting to be better, and we will make it better! If you could clarify about the templates as well, that would be fantastic. Are you referring to the email templates that go out to candidates, or the question templates? You can create your own question templates at any time by clicking on "new question template". All interviews require evaluators to rate and review interviews, otherwise the interview will be deemed as not reviewed. If you would like a feature where the evaluator MUST rate an interview otherwise they cannot leave the interview, that could be a good feature! Let me know if this is what you are referring to and I can push that through as a feature request.
