Overall Satisfaction with iCIMS Talent Acquisition Software Suite

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We currently use iCIMS as our CRM and Talent Acquisition suite within North America. The whole organization has access to the system. We use the system for all non-exempt and exempt hiring, across the U.S. and Canada. The business problems this suite addresses are largely tied to hiring and adding candidates to our talent community.

Pros and Cons

Pros

This suite is very scalable and can take on thousands of employees and candidates.
The talent community is fairly robust.

Cons

Reporting is very clunky and is difficult to pre-program.
Customer service is difficult to work with, especially if you aren't an enterprise-level organization.

Return on Investment

Their most recent price quote increased was 40%, which made them too expensive for our liking.
They lack robust reporting capabilities.

Alternatives Considered

Avature ATS, Greenhouse and Jobvite

We recently went through an RFP process and iCIMS was a finalist with Avature and Jobvite. iCIMS finished third in that RFP because of their high cost, challenging customer service, difficult reporting and their ability to work with us on customization of our site.

Support Rating

I thought our direct customer contact was poor. They were difficult to get answers from, they kept transferring us to other resources because they didn't have the answers, and never made time for us. iCIMS technical resources were easy to communicate, but if you aren't a large client of theirs, I'm not sure they will give you the time of day.

If you were a very large (10,000+ employees) and have to scale, both globally and financially, iCIMS will make time for you. If you are also looking for a technology where it works right out of the box and needs a little customization, iCIMS is a great resource.
