Overall Satisfaction with Insightly
I use Insightly to track leads and opportunities that I generate for my accounting firm. The firm does not use any CRM, and I was struggling to manage my leads, so I picked up Insightly on my own and began using it. It has been a great tool for keeping leads organized, tracking and following up on opportunities and keeping and tracking call notes and emails.
- Easy to track leads/opportunities and link them to contacts.
- Great for taking notes on the fly when talking to contacts.
- Easy to send and link emails to records.
- Contact integration with Outlook is not great.
- Views were not customizable but the recent release fixed this!
- Increased Sales

Insightly has been great, letting me be more efficient by having all of my notes and follow-up tasks in one place. The organization that Insightly enables has made it easier to drive sales and follow up with leads. I do not use Insightly for mass emails (or really for sending emails), and I am definitely missing out by not taking advantage of the templates.
Insightly is much leaner than Salesforce, so it obviously does a lot less, but it also has a much easier learning curve and lets you get started basically right away. What it lacks in flexibility/customizability, it makes up for in simplicity and conciseness. Since the release of the updated UI, it also has a cleaner and smoother interface than Salesforce (at least as of my last use).
