Overall Satisfaction with Insightly

We use Insightly to manage our incoming over from customers including architects, contactors, and design firms. We use it as a database to track upcoming, in-progress, and completed. We use it to organize contacts and organizations. We also use it to collect customer email and phone number data for marketing purposes. Before using Insightly, this information was extremely hard to organize and track for all sorts of purposes. Gmail alone was not a useful tool in organizing this data.

  • customer service is slow and is not clear with their questions
  • I have no actual ROI number to provide. It is not that easy to determine.
Insightly is sometimes useful but becomes harder to use as you dive deeper into trying to find specific information or organize information in a certain way. Creating reports is frustrating. The mobile app is terrible and not worth using. It is easier to use on a computer.
It is easy to assign tasks to different users for a variety of different tasks. We use it to assign tasks for mostly administration duties across different departments. We use it mostly for the creation of different documents like Invoices, PO, SO, and estimates.
I have used no other CRM programs and my company is too ingrained in Insightly to switch to a different program at this point.

Yes

If a business runs a simple service or transaction flow process, this is a very useful tool to organize contacts and projects. It makes exporting to Mailchimp an easy process. Managing tasks is somewhat easy between different departments through email notifications.
