Overall Satisfaction with Intuit Mailchimp

We use Intuit Mailchimp as our core email marketing and lead-nurturing platform, not just for newsletters. It supports our lead generation with webinar and event promo sequences, ebook and guide follow-ups, then takes over on the nurturing side with automated journeys that educate new leads about use cases and product value. It’s also key for customer communication. We send regular product updates, feature announcements, release highlights, and adoption-focused emails. On top of that, we run campaign-based marketing like event follow-ups and product-specific pushes, and we’re constantly optimizing performance through segment-based targeting and ongoing improvements to open and click-through rates.

Pros

  • Newsletter pushes
  • Product release announcements
  • Automations

Cons

  • Sometimes the Mailchimp analytics data doesn't match the google analytics data. For example, I can see a 25% click rate in Mailchimp but a small email traffic in google analytics.
  • I also find template and design customization slightly restrictive at times.
  • Sometimes I'm lacking automatins based on multiple conditions at once, like industry = association + clicked pricing page + attended webinar
  • The biggest ROI comes from automation-driven time savings
  • Structured multi-email sequences help drive more webinar registrations
  • Re-engagement campaigns help us see the data clean
We segment our audience by industry and send different emails tailored to each segment, targeting the right contacts with the right messaging.
  • Segmentation
  • Dynamic content
  • Campaign templates
  • Email marketing
  • Customer journeys (automated workflows)
  • Prebuilt Automations (welcome email, abandoned cart, etc.)
  • Integrations
  • Reporting
They cover almost all of our email marketing needs and requirements.
The feature is great but it didn't help up achieve our goals.
As our marketing efforts expanded with more webinars, gated content, and automated nurture journeys, Mailchimp handled the increased volume and complexity without performance issues.
I gave it a 9 because Mailchimp delivers strong performance, ease of use, and reliable automation that meets almost all of our marketing needs

Do you think Intuit Mailchimp delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Intuit Mailchimp's feature set?

Yes

Did Intuit Mailchimp live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Intuit Mailchimp go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Intuit Mailchimp again?

Yes

The tools worked well for event and webinar marketing, content-driven lead nurturing as well as for sending product update emails, feature announcements, release highlights, etc. It's possible to reuse templates or duplicate emails. Mailchimp has poor engagement scoring. Also, it is contact-focused, not company-focused, and so you won't be able to run ABM marketing.
