Overall Satisfaction with Webex App
We replaced our Avaya PBX with Cisco VOIP with Jabber. In addition to replacing PBX infrastructure, GWU replaced physical hand sets with soft phone Jabber and head sets. Although met with initial resistance from business, the integration with Cisco WebEx has improved collaboration dramatically.
- Call integration with WebEx.
- Calendar integration with Google Calendar to alert callers I am in a meeting.
- Instant messenger functionality with directory makes it easy to call or chat with anyone in our organization virtually.
- Creating groups of users is difficult.
- Easier way to integrate with current location of user would be great.
- Dislike mobile jabber app.
- Easier way to forward calls to mobile number.
- Able to replace aging PBX HW with SW.
- Initially cost very expensive , do not expect break even on RIO until year 5 or 6.
Jabber and Cisco product suite allow us to fully swap out all HW including PBX. Avaya product set did not meet more of our requirements.
