Overall Satisfaction with Join.me
We use join.me for end-user training of customers, for internal meetings and online software demonstrations to prospects.
- join.me's greatest strength is ease of use. It is very simple to host a meeting.
- Participants do not have to download any software to see a presentation.
- It has built in audio conferencing.
- Recordings are downloadable in a useless web format that has to be converted to something else if you want to do anything with it like host it online.
- They need to add registration capabilities which is a must have feature if you host webinars.
- Visuals into the audio would be nice. Right now you cannot see who has called in.
- Our objective was to centralize applications for our users so that there were less logins for them to keep up with. We use other logmein products (logmein is the parent of join.me) and the user accounts are the same across the board.
Honestly most of these are about the same in terms of functionality. Join.me has a competitive price but is not necessarily the cheapest. We selected it to consolidate things internally.
