Overall Satisfaction with Join.me
Join.me is a well-known collaboration tool that has been around for quite some time. My IT department prefers to use this meeting option because it’s so simple to send your web meeting link to invite others to a call to share screens and provide information. It’s a great tool if you just need to share your screen quickly with someone else.
- Ability to provide an easy to use web meeting link.
- Ability to provide accommodating features and easy to pass presenters roles.
- Provides easy access for new users.
- Ability to share desktops of certain programs.
- I remember first time presenters would always have to download some install for join.me which Inst berry attractive.
- Unlimited attendees for all meetings would be great.
- Could be potentially less convoy.
- I’m not sure that this program offers some of the features that would be important to the business but I would like to see more opportunity within the updates.
- The positive side is the fact that different parts of the business are able to easily communicate efficiently.
- This program has a lot of great features you would need share information.
I do like join.me for shorter presentations but I think it could use an upgrade. It’s great that each meeting creates its own link which is easy to send to others.

Evaluating Join.me and Competitors
No - Join.me hasn’t replaced any of our products but we have used GlobalMeet as our preferred web sharing collaboration tool. I like to use Join.me when a user is having trouble with logging into our regular tools. This helps speed up the time it takes to walk through steps or our processes in an efficient manner.
- Product Features
- Product Usability
The key factor to use join.me if that you are able to communic efficiently with other attendees.
I think we would look at cost closer. Having multiple collaboration tools can be quite expensive and to narrow down the tools we would only need would be more cost efficient. I think join.me has a lot to offer on a basic level but I prefer GlobalMeet and/or Skype formally known as Lync.
