Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

We are using the training across our organization to all users who have email addresses. Participants complete a short monthly training module to expose them to various security awareness issues in a slow drip, rather that one big training event.
  • Modules are short and engaging
  • Content is easy to understand and relevant to our use case
  • Content is reliable and accurate
  • The use of template emails can seem impersonal/easy to ignore to some
  • Module assignments are part of campaigns. There isn't a way to leave "optional modules" for the user who wants to learn more without making them mandatory to all.
  • It is too soon to draw global conclusions, but we have many users reporting suspicious emails (even when they are not), which opens the opportunity for a conversation explaining how to confirm is something is safe or malicious. The first noticeable result has been increased awareness of the risks.
We did not look at other services. KnowBe4 was our first stop and met our needs more than adequately.
Because there is a robust Mod Store of content options, I feel confident I have access to the tools to build foundational understanding in our users, as well as build on that foundation with modules that are relevant to our specific situations.
We were able to import users with an easy, one time CSV upload. We will update our user listings at the start of each year, and consider the automation options at a later time.
Two primary pieces of useful data we get from KnowBe4 are (1) easy monitoring of which users have completed training modules and (2) reports on our Phishing tests
I have been very happy with what KnowBe4 has to offer and although we have only been using the service for a few months, I look forward to years of continued learning for our users.

The training modules we have completed have been well received. One challenge of shorter learning modules is that the whole story may not be told. This month we learned how hackers can access a lot of sensitive material through one password they have retrieved, but haven't yet learned how their spoofing can be detected and avoided.

KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training New Features

We have added our users with a one time import and haven't connected with Active Directory yet.
The Phish Alert features have been very helpful in increasing awareness of our staff. They are becoming skeptical of emails soliciting information, and PhishER has helped us see email that might be putting our organization at risk.
It is very easy for our staff to sign into KnowBe4 and complete the assigned modules. They have shared positive feedback with me, not that they were looking forward to it, but that the learning was easy and valuable. They know once they get started, it will be worth their time. I haven't heard of anyone having difficulty accessing or completing the training assigned.
