Our team is responsible for training all employees and contractors on Security Awareness at least quarterly. Our company manages sensitive data for our customers, so we simply must have well-trained employees when it comes to security. Using KnowBe4's products, we provide multiple mandatory training events every year, including regular phishing campaigns. We need the best partner in training our employees, so we use KnowBe4.

We find that our employees are more engaged with the new content, as opposed to seeing some of the same modules every so often. We do eight modules per year, and KnowBe4 has a deep library, so we never have to use the same module twice - but we do for some of them because there are so good.
The AD integration with KnowBe4 greatly reduces the quarterly setup work. We need to report completion rates per manager, including rolling up the groups to their respective level above them - without the AD integration, reporting in our previous product was a chore. With KnowBe4, it's a breeze.
We are interested in the pass/fail rates for the tests and the phishing campaigns. We are primarily interested in team/department average scores, and we hold the managers of the various groups responsible for the scores. This moves the needle better than having the security department responsible.

Evaluating KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training and Competitors
Yes - We replaced ProofPoint's Security Awareness Training with KnowBe4. Proofpoint's solution did not offer AD integration at the time, which made reporting the results to the various levels of management difficult. We had also been using it for a few years, and needed some fresh content. KnowBe4 has a very large library.

KnowBe4's reputation is stellar, and that made it easier to sell to the Sr. management. The real winner for me was the AD integration, which saved our team a lot of work each quarter in uploading the employee list, and then reporting results specific to the various levels of management.
The evaluation process was simple, I don't think I would change it. I researched online for the leading companies, read reviews, and gathered information about what was offered (for instance, some will do USB drops in you parking lot, some will do AD integration, and others don't). KnowBe4 made the decision easy, they stood out as the clear leader for what we needed.
