KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

We use KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training for security awareness training and phishing testing to further direct our security awareness training. This product creates continued, updated modules that allow us to disseminate information to our community in an almost set it and forget it fashion. The first problem we have is making our community aware of all the pitfalls and dangers that are out on the interwebs and email. KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training does a great job of identifying and addressing these so that our community knows what to look out for. Secondly, we have tied some of our training into our policies where not only must they complete the training, but they must also acknowledge they have reviewed and accepted the policy. Finally, we use ongoing testing to track who is still clicking on 'bad' emails, what they were clicking on so that we can better direct our awareness efforts into what is being missed. Our regulating agencies and insurance companies also appreciate that we have partnered with KnowBe4 and can produce verifiable reports showing how well our awareness efforts are working.

It has made it much easier for us to keep current information available to our community. Our community also appreciates this information as they are made aware of threats in a more timely manner and know what to look out for. Finally, different publishers have different methods of delivery to help increase the variety of learning experiences to ensure we reach out to all learning types.

User management is tied into our AD system. Any changes we make to our AD (added, deleted, etc.) are automatically updated to KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training through this integration on a daily basis. From there, we use groups within KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training to trigger the appropriate training to our community.

All of the trending reports are used to show our administration the success of the awareness program. In specific cases, we also use the completion reports to show and verify people have completed required training and accepted associated policies.

The Active Directory integration has made account management with KnowBe4 simple and easy. Additionally, we can trigger specific training for newly onboarded accounts which makes delivering security awareness training to new accounts extremely simple. The account is synced with KnowBe4, they immediately receive a notification of required awareness training. Group management within KnowBe4 is simple as well which helps us classify KnowBe4 users to target more specific training in the future.

The AI-drive personalization has helped target our account holders with specific information relevant to their areas of interest or specialization. This helps reduce training fatigue as we rely on the AI system to supply relevant training based on actions and history that make sense to the account holder. There really is not a reason to supply accounting security awareness training to non-accounting people. KnowBe4 AI helps us solve this problem.

Unfortunately, we are not current users of PhishER and therefore this question does not apply.
