Overall Satisfaction with Kronos Workforce Ready

My support person was always there for me and guided me along in the implementation of the Kronos Workforce Ready program.
He had all the answers and never got tired of me "bothering" him with my questions no matter how BIG or how small they were.
Kronos Workforce Ready is only being used by the Payroll Department.
It address the problem of Payroll Based Journal information for CMS.
  • Kronos keeps excellent track of my employees when they clock in and out.
  • We are primarily using the Kronos Timekeeping System for Payroll and the Payroll Based Journal that CMS is requesting.
  • I can not think of anything that is hard to use, missing or things I need to see done differently.
  • Kronos Workforce Ready has been and will continue to be an excellent investment in time and labor for our Payroll Department.
We basically chose Kronos because it has the capability to report PBJ to CMS.
  • Price
  • Product Features
  • Product Reputation
Like I have been saying the single most important factor was that Kronos has the capacity to send the PBJ to CMS.
Kronos Workforce Ready is well suited to my needs as a Payroll Technician.
It provides all the information I need and is easy to use.

Using Kronos Workforce Ready

1 - Time and Attendance Tracking and being able to submit the Payroll Based Journal to CMS
1 - One person who is the Payroll Manager
  • Being able to track the employees punches in and out for payroll purposes
  • Being able to have all the information for the Payroll Based Journal submission to CMS..
  • Having a time and attendance system and support people I can count on.
  • We can more efficiently track our employees when they punch in and out.
  • We might possibly use the features that Kronos has to directly submit information to their payroll system.
After having used the system for only a short time I already am very pleased with the ease of use and
with the support there when I need it. It is also something we as a Health Care Provider need according
to ALL the new rules and regulations.

Evaluating Kronos Workforce Ready and Competitors

Yes - Kronos replaced our previous time and attendance system (Lathem).
We had to replace the old system because the old system did not
have the capability to be able to submit the PBJ to CMS.
Would not change anything. I am very pleased with Kronos Workforce.

Kronos Workforce Ready Implementation

Yes - The first phase had the capability to learn the steps from entering a new employee into the system, track their time, and terminating an employee without actually being in the program itself. It was called the sandbox. I did not particularly like that part. I am the kind of person who learns best when I can do the entering and so forth and have it in the actual working phase.
My support person was very helpful and was patient and kind when I worked with him.
  • I did not have any significant issued during implementation. Everything went very smoothly.

Using Kronos Workforce Ready

Again I just use it for payroll purposes and for submitting the PBJ to CMS.
ProsCons

  • So far the only two functions we use are the ability to be able to punch in and out for payroll purposes and the ability to submit the PBJ to CMS.
  • So far no functions are difficult or cumbersome to perform.
