Overall Satisfaction with LinkedIn Talent Solutions

I use LinkedIn Recruiter in my department to uncover talent for open jobs I have with my clients. I am an executive search consultant for a business management consulting firm. I am solely responsible for finding candidates for our client. I am able to pinpoint specific candidates who match the requirements I'm looking for, in the geographic location I am searching in, as well as organize the candidates and reach out to them in a very organized fashion.
  • Boolean searches
  • Project Set-up
  • Post Jobs
  • I love that you can have the job applicants go straight to your url
  • Adding more detail to the "look" of job descriptions, bullet points, highlights, etc.
  • Templates to send to candidates to get better response rates on Inmails!
  • More InMails! Since the response rates are low....
  • Better way to alert LinkedIn users that they have an email waiting or someone who wants to connect with them. More interactive
  • Job Postings
  • Projects
  • Inmails
  • The majority of our ROI come from referrals, but LinkedIn Talent Solutions has also helped us find candidates. If they referral doesn't pan out, then Workable is usually next, followed by LinkedIn.
  • LinkedIn Talent Solutions has gotten more expensive and has eliminated the Small Business offering so we did not renew. It just became to costly based on the ROI.
  • Clients always like that we have access to post jobs to LinkedIn Talent Solutions because they consider LinkedIn legitimate and professional.
We just decided to end our relationship with LinkedIn Talent Solutions after they eliminated the Small Business offering. The price went up and we just weren't having any return on investment. The time spent reaching out to candidates and not hearing back from them was frustrating. We purchased ZoomInfo instead which comes with candidate information, including LinkedIn profile links, but more importantly could most times tell us business phone/email and personal phone/email to reach candidates through. The ability to reach out to candidates 1300 times versus 150 Inmails is huge too. In the past we chose LinkedIn Talent Solutions because of the price offered small businesses, the professionalism, and because our clients often have high level positions that we recruit for and this is the platform to find professionals.

Do you think LinkedIn Talent Solutions delivers good value for the price?

Would you buy LinkedIn Talent Solutions again?

LinkedIn Talent Solutions is best suited for higher-level, more professional roles in contrast to lower-level assembler, production roles for candidates. I have found that the lower level candidates don't have LinkedIn profiles, so there's no sense in posting on LinkedIn for these roles. LinkedIn Talent Solutions is our go-to for the sweet spot roles that we hire for!
