Overall Satisfaction with Litmus
Preview emails across a variety of email clients, browsers, and operating systems. Use it to troubleshoot issues we find in email code.
Pros
- Email previews
Cons

- Pricing model
- Shorter email review cycles
- Fewer email resends
- More effective email review cycles
- More tangible ability to call an email “done and ready to send”
Can’t afford the integration that’s only in the highest pricing tier
Our biggest miss is revenue and conversion reporting, which Litmus does not, to my knowledge, have capability to do. Because the plan we are on allows for so few sends with analytics, we opt not to use this feature
Have not used. Do all personalization within our esp
In my experience, Email on Acid is far less reliable for accuracy than Litmus

Evaluating Litmus and Competitors
- Other
Plain and simple, in my experience, it’s more accurate than alternative platforms that do the same thing
I would make it a harder sell to the end users than to the decision makers
Litmus Support
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|

Did not purchase premium support; support is rarely if ever required for this product post-implementation
At a past job, during implementation there are a few key technical things to figure out related to integration. They’re lost to my memory but I do remember Litmus being helpful in getting them configured properly
