Overall Satisfaction with LogicMonitor

We are currently using LogicMonitor for our network monitoring needs, especially after moving away from SW. Our whole IT department is using this software and it provides visibility to our entire network. A big reason why we chose LogicMonitor was the ability to integrate multiple device vendors we had in our environment.

  • Can be overwhelming with the customizations.
  • Single pane of glass for monitoring.
  • Easily digestible dashboards to make decisions.
Their ability to integrate with the device vendors we use in our environment was a key separator.
We have not fully utilized Customer Support yet but I'm basing this score off the initial kick off to onboard LogicMonitor into our environment.
The prior solution we used did not integrate to ServiceNow as easily as LogicMonitor does. This has helped with the stream lining of tickets and including the necessary actionable data for our analysts. The visibility of multiple device vendors was a big deal for our team.
Once you have your dashboards set it is amazing. To get to that point can be overwhelming because the amount of customizations that can be added to the dashboards are quite extensive. This is a good thing as every customer cares about different metrics and information but at first glance it can be challenging.

LogicMonitor is great at monitoring and providing an easily digestible view of our entire network. Their ability to monitor and provide traffic analysis for various device vendors made it a separator from its competition. The task that we couldn't do with LM was the ability to push configurations to certain devices, it was more for monitoring and quickly making business decisions on the data it gathered.
