Overall Satisfaction with LogMeIn Central by GoTo
We use LogMeIn Central by GoTo primarily as a secondary, but daily used, remote access solution across multiple clients to allow for easy, direct access to specific machines at client locations. It affords easy access from multiple devices (PC, macOS & iOS) and incorporates background file transfer and command prompt ability, as well.
- Remote access
- Quick insight into uptime of particular machine
- Software-based VPN into client network
- It's not a true RMM and is missing some key functionality in that realm while it claims to be one
- Compared to a true RMM, it's too costly to deploy across an entire organization
- LogMeIn Central by GoTo gives us the ability to quickly and easily access specific machines remotely, in particular from the field (i.e., from a mobile device), affording us the ability to more quickly respond to issues that may arise and resolve them
We use both LogMeIn Central by GoTo and a true RMM product. LogMeIn Central by GoTo has its role as an easier method to remotely access selected oft-used machines, whereas the RMM product is much, much more cost effective to rollout to entire infrastructure footprints.
