Our development office and administration use Mailchimp for newsletters and mailings. It allows us to see who is opening and reading items and track usage.

Pros and Cons

Pros

The ability to see which community members are reading the publications help us to ensure productive communication across the organization.
The ability to track which stakeholders are opening and reading which items allows for more targeted communication.

Cons

I would love to see even more options for templates and types of communication.
Additionally, it would be an excellent tool to be able to share while editing.

Streamlined communication is easy with this tool.
Audiences can be targeted for specific needs.

Mailchimp is better than many other similar tools because of the ease of use and the detailed information received.
