Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp
Mailchimp is primarily used by our marketing and development departments for mass email communication to our organization's followers. It allows us to segment email lists and send communications to a targeted audience. We are able to customize emails, save templates, include attachments, schedule the emails in advance, test subject lines, and easily track results all within the Mailchimp platform.

We primarily used MailChimp due to its reasonable pricing and tiered structured based on the number of subscribers. However, we have recently switched to WordFly as it syncs with our Tessitura database allowing us to easily see what communications an individual has received and/or responded to from their client profile in our database instead of having to login into MailChimp and cross-reference the information.
We only used Mailchimp to send mass communications to our audience and to track the results of the various campaigns. Unfortunately, it does not sync with our database which would have allowed for additional targeting and tracking capabilities.
Mailchimp works as advertised. We were able to effectively and consistently communicate with our followers. The ability to build templates and schedule emails allows our team to work efficiently and save time. It's not perfect, but for the price it's pretty good. The biggest con for our organization is that it didn't sync with our Tessitura database, so after having used Mailchimp for years we recently switched to a new platform that will sync in hopes that it will facilitate more personal communications and tracking.
