Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp
I use Mailchimp to design newsletter templates that our team can use to create individual emails. I also create and send individual emails. We are also able to track open rates and see which types of emails and topics our readers respond to.
Pros
- Newsletter templates
- Relatively easy to use
- Has a good amount of features
Cons
- More flexibility in template design
- Could improve user interface
- Mailchimp has helped us send well design emails
- Mailchimp alerts us to things like image size, so we can send emails that won't be problematic for users
- Emma
We previously used Emma, but found it difficult and rigid to work with. Once we were in the process of developing a new newsletter design for our emails, we developed mockups and tested the mockups on both platforms. We were not able to achieve the desired design with Emma. However, we were able to do it in Mailchimp.
We have mostly used Mailchimp to build emails, but I look forward to exploring the landing page features.
With Mailchimp, we are able to send newsletters to our readers that have open rates that are higher than the industry. We even have high open rates when we send emails on weekends. We even have readers respond to our email and send replies. Our emails also drive traffic to our website.
