Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are using Mailchimp for email marketing. We are defining email templates provided by Mailchimp, that help us to send bulk emails on that defined template. It is beneficial to run a campaign and send marketing newsletters. The reporting is very lovely; we can check how many people respond to a campaign or click on a link embedded in the newsletter.

Alternatives Considered

Mailchimp provides a variety of email templates but the problem in most cases is it doesn't fit our requirements. You need HTML and CSS knowledge to update the template. It supports only the English language, it should provide the template in other languages like Spanish or French, etc. Its interface is not very aesthetic that needs to improve. Campaign creation takes time because of the clumsy interface provided by Mailchimp.

Usability

I found that Mailchimp needs improvement on templates, language support, and technical support. It is best suited for niche base small e-commerce businesses. It provides a very good report based on the response of users. We can integrate it with social media pages like Facebook. It also supports landing and forms without any cost.

All-in-One Marketing Platform

We are using Mailchimp for campaign and email marketing for clients' Shopify/WordPress websites. It is best for online marketing by providing functions such as e-mail templates, custom templates, forms, and landing pages. These functions are very useful for promoting a business in very less human effort and without having much technical knowledge.

Lessons for Success

We analyzed which customer in which demographic is more interested in our product or services. It also helps us to boost the sale and understand the customer behavior. For the first time it will take time to define the content or template for your campaign but it helps us save our time and effort.

The best thing is that it is free for up to 10 thousand emails in a month. It provides a number of templates that we can edit, it just requires little knowledge of HTML and CSS. If we have to provide a newsletter for new offers or any event every day or week then Mailchimp is a good option. It is one of the best tools available for email marketing for niche-based e-commerce applications like Shopify. This is very helpful in promoting small businesses.
