All-in-one solution for newsletters/eblasts and more
Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp
We use Mailchimp for email blasts/newsletters. We send out a monthly newsletter to all of our clients--over 10,000 in our database. We design and write our own articles. The software is great and easy to use. There are a lot of templates to use or you can create your own design. It also helps you track your open rate and who unsubscribed. The statistics are very helpful to know what is working. You can do A/B testing and you can also resend to people who didn't open it on the first try. We have been using it for years and I have used other software that is similar but I like this one better. The features are better and the templates are more up to date. There are a lot of other features to use but we basically use it for the newsletters. I have created landing pages with Mailchimp. I do recommend this software over others that are out there and try the free version and if you like it then upgrade to the paid version. The database portion is easy to track too and add new people. I can't say enough nice things about Mailchimp.
Pros
- Newsletter
- Datebase
- Landing pages
Cons
- more templates
- lower price
- Better open rate
- more exposure
I have used Constant Contact in the past and by far I like Mailchimp better. Constant Contact hasn't kept up with the times and Mailchimp has done a better job becoming relevant and is more modern. I get better results with Mailchimp and it helps me track things better too. Try it and you won't look back.
We get more exposure and better open rates. Since it is so easy to use I end up using it more often. I wish I had time to use more of it features. I want to learn more about it and do more. If my job only had the freedom to do more. Too many other things to do.
People sign up for our newsletter and more people are opening it. Our open rate has increased over the past few years. We have a good database and a good newsletter so people will open it. Mailchimp helps us filter out people that are not interested so we can purge them from our list.
