Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp

We used Mailchimp for email marketing over several years.

Pros

  • Getting signed up is easy
  • Has good templates out of the box

Cons

  • Designing custom templates
  • Navigating the account
  • Efficient
Mailchimp is better than Constant Contact, but Active Campaign and HubSpot are better than Mailchimp.

Mailchimp is a great email marketing tool. Our issues with the platform relate to how difficult it is to close your account when ready. Not only is there not a clear way to cancel your account, you cannot close your account if you have contacts in the platform even if you are not sending emails. In my experience, customer support is not helpful when you are trying to close your account. There was very little documentation on how to close the account and what was required to close the account.
