Overall Satisfaction with MailerLite

We're using Mailerlite as a listserv for a small nonprofit. We didn't need anything fancy, but bcc isn't an option for more than about 30 people. We wanted to move away from big tech, so we're not using google groups. I've used Mailerlite for a for-profit business of mine for the last 3 years and know how easy it is to use, and how good deliverability is. I tried a [big-name] competitor recently and was dismayed by the fact that all emails to ProtonMail never showed up, and all emails to Gmail and Yahoo went to spam. We only had a 1-2% open rate on that competitor mailing because it wasn't delivered properly despite showing "accepted" on their backend. By contrast, Mailerlite has excellent deliverability. My business emails get a 30-50% open rate. Plus, it's super easy to use, their customer support is superb and the price can't be [beaten]. I really can't recommend it highly enough.
  • Deliverability - does not go to spam
  • Super easy to use
  • Fantastic, fast customer support
  • Beautiful, professional newsletters
  • Can't think of [anything]
  • Excellent ROI in terms of time not sending individual emails
To be fair, I had a great experience with Myemma. But it's $70 a month for the most basic plan. Mailerlite has everything I need in a forever-free plan. I used Myemma for a for-profit business 4 years ago. Deliverability was excellent but not any better than Mailerlite. I tried Sendinblue recently and could not even sign up. It seems if you don't sign in with Google, you can't get an account. Since we're moving away from big tech, google was not an option. We tried Madmimi. Unfortunately, deliverability was terrible. Although it said all but 30 emails were "accepted" by the domain, only 1% of emails were read. In tests to our core members, all protonmails were never delivered to, and gmails and yahoo all went to spam. This was disappointing as I'd heard good things about it. It also wasn't as easy to use as Mailerlite. Mailchimp censors so is a nonstarter. Mailerlite creates beautiful, professional emails, or simple text ones if you prefer so it almost just looks like a regular email coming from you, if that's what you want. And on Mailerlite I've always gotten a 30-50% open rate.

Do you think MailerLite delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with MailerLite's feature set?

Yes

Did MailerLite live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of MailerLite go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy MailerLite again?

Yes

Our organization is very small and we don't have [the] budget for a system that costs $50-$70 a month. Mailerlite is perfect for us because it offers everything a larger business could want except that the forever free plan is working great for us right now, and as we grow, their prices are still super reasonable. The most important thing is "will our emails get read" and from previous experience, I know Mailerlite is tops.
