Overall Satisfaction with Mattermost

It can be easily integrated with any software(DevOps). You just need to be having a good hand on Mattermost and the technology you are integrating with. You can test it very easily and get satisfied with the results you get. Options are available easily thus making you sit and relax after the job is done.
We use Mattermost for our daily tasks, day-to-day discussions, issues we face in our technologies, and ask for solutions from our colleagues of different departments as well. Various features of Mattermost make it amazing to get everything in one place. We also share our achievements here to get them noticed by other teammates.

Pros

  • The system console feature to manage all users.
  • Different groups can be formed easily and the privacy is amazing.
  • Flexibility to post big images, attachments is really cool.

Cons

  • The options we look for should be more easily available with a change in its interface.
  • Group deletion is still a big task. It should be easily available to all users.
  • Managing all things at one place is the biggest asset of Mattermost.
  • Assigning tasks to subordinates and then getting notifications after work is done is so cool.
  • Getting out of office messages is very helpful when you want urgent work done and the person is on leave. You get to know this from OOO messages.
It is a type of Intranet feature which is highly secure and just belongs to your office only. You don't need to worry about any data leak. You can also assign other users tasks on this and get them notified through the notification feature. You can make groups of various projects and can include users who are in that group. You are free to share your views with your team even through your mobile app. Amazing!!
Before Mattermost my organization was using Slack. Although it is a very good tool, but when your users increase in number then sudden application crashing issues arise, thus interrupting your work. Also, Mattermost has many more features as compared to Slack which makes it a much more useful tool to use.

It is an amazing platform where we can interact with our fellow workers and can share our achievements, laughs, issues to get a solution, suggestions, discussions, etc. The multiple options of Mattermost help us achieve our tasks in an easy manner. In an organization, whether it is big or small, features of Mattermost help us to interact with any department colleagues in a professional and approachable manner.

Using Mattermost

230 - We use Mattermost for Projects discussions, internal chats, discussions, laughs, technical talks, etc, etc. Overall wonderful use of this application makes it an allrounder in itself. No matter how many users you have there will be no issues of crashing and other errors that affect your important tasks. Keep going with it.
3 - We need technical guys who are well versed to handle any type of technical issues you may face. At least a guy sound in computer knowledge who can handle the app very easily. You need to give basic training to new users who are unaware of this application. Rest all is very easy to access.

100% renewal of this app is very necessary as our whole office is on this platform. Assigning tasks is very easy here. Getting timely updates from team members is an add-on.
