Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Teams

We are hybrid model. Each one of us can schedule meetings, calling and video conferencing each other at no cost to us. When we are in office, Microsoft Teams are instant messaging system. We use it to evaluate our project and high five to those who have done a great job. It makes us feel appreciated. What's more, we are a team and that feels good. It saves our time. We become more transparent to each other. We are staying connected more than ever.

  • For Olsen as a business, it is only a start. Some departments use more than others. Sr. Management has not yet seen the effectiveness of using this product.
  • From personal front, I really enjoyed using Microsoft Teams. It connects me with my colleagues without going out of the office, which at times may be seen as socializing and unproductive.
The Teamwork was introduced to the company earlier. Sr. Management pulled training sessions through marketing and digital advertising department. Most of the company's projects were posted on the Teamwork. It is the company's project management space. If Microsoft Teams come in sooner to this company, I believe management would pick Microsoft Teams. However, the Teamwork is more oriented to project/task management and sharing, just like the Outlook to do list. The Microsoft Teams is friendlier in terms of connecting with people.

When teams are scattered across the country, Microsoft Teams by itself means collaboration and team work. Also the team space is a great area that each department can have their own issues discussed and shared. However, it may not be an effective tool when Internet connection is not stable. Perhaps in the urban areas would be best while in the rural areas, e.g. the west and prairies..
