The Seamless Choice Microsoft Teams Review for M365 Ecosystems.
Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Teams
I’m using Microsoft Teams as part of my job. Most of our meeting schedules, internal communications, and team meetings are hosted using Teams. I was introduced to it some years ago, but I only started using it consistently in the past four months. It is very easy to operate, and it works seamlessly with other Microsoft apps.
Pros
- Seamlessly integrates with Outlook calendar.
- Uses the documents title instead of the URL, making it accessible.
- Easy to use across multiple devices.
Cons
- It needs to be updated always for everything to work well.
- Screen sharing can be a little challenging at times.
- Not all people we need to connect to have Microsoft teams.
- Because our unit decided to go all in with Microsoft Products, the integration and flow of our communication and files are seamless.
- Microsoft Teams is very secure. Only those who are logged in with their university credentials can access the files we share and the events we host. Therefore, we don't have to worry about privacy and security for the virtual events we host.
- If our virtual events are open to the public, joiners outside the organization often struggle to join because Microsoft Teams is not the most familiar tool amongst the public.
The advantage of using Microsoft Teams over Zoom is that Teams seamlessly works with Outlook Calendar, Outlook Email, Lists, Forms, etc. If I create a Zoom meeting, I will have to do twice as much work. Working at a Microsoft 365 organization, it is more convenient to use a product that runs on the same back end. I need not copy-paste, or miss a letter or number, and run into errors.
