Overall Satisfaction with MindManager
I primarily use MindManager to brainstorm and plan. I first discovered it about 20 years ago while working in Marketing in London. It is very flexible and versatile; enabling me to put all my thoughts down, before re-organising; refining; prioritising, and then converting to a presentation or document. I find it significantly more productive than starting with Word or Powerpoint.

While I was Managing Director of a building company, I used to use it to do top-level planning for projects. This would vary from project to project and would include but not be limited to identifying tasks; managing risks; allocating resources; estimating timeframes; identifying milestones; prioritising actions; tracking progress.
You can't really compare the two. Microsoft Project is used for more complex projects while MindManager is better for brainstorming.
