Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro enables me and my colleagues to rapidly plan in a collaborative fashion without being in the same room. The ability to include links, pictures from virtually anywhere easily outdated classic whiteboards. Imagine that you are in a brainstorming session and everybody can just add things to the board, in real-time, without having to screen share.
  • Flowcharts.
  • Collaborative editing.
  • Custom colors.
  • Easier movement between back and front.
  • Improved productivity.
  • Real-time collaboration.
I feel like Miro is a well implemented product and I haven't anything to add at this time.
Miro has a bit of a learning curve, early issues involve locking certain elements before collaborative planning sessions, but it makes for great funny moments when someone accidentally rearranges the board when they use it the first time. Beyond this, it was very easy to integrate it into our workflow.
Positively. Our planning sessions are a lot easier. It also enables me to create boards explaining processes visually. Team collaboration seems to have increased. I particularly like the fact that we can work on the same board, without having to share screens which always slowed us down in the past. Now we can be on a conference call discussing our thoughts and adding things to the board simultaneously.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

At our time we use Miro for a few scenarios. I think the product is particularly well suited for any sort of planning that benefits from a whiteboard, especially if it's being used by a remote team. Beyond planning, we tend to use Miro during our Agile Sprint Retrospectives. I'd like to see more templates, especially ones that are software development specific.

Using Miro

  • Planning of tasks/workflows/processes.
  • Sprint Retrospective - voting boards, etc.
  • Visual representation of implementation requirements.
  • SPrint retrospective mood and voting boards.
Although I am not in the position to make this decision I'd encourage my managers to renew as the product makes our day-to-day tasks easier and more fun.
