Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro solves many co-creation issues created by teleworking. The amount of methodologies we can execute in sync and a-sync manner has made the new coordination situation a great boost in productivity and enjoyment. Clients, the design team, and other third-party people involved in the projects get happily involved because of its ease of use.

Pros

  • Infinite canvas.
  • Value templates.

Cons

  • More export options.
  • Automatised imports from tools like Pinterest/Instagram collections.
  • Better comment classification.
  • Improved coordination.
  • Improved real-time workshop management.
  • Improved collaborative mood boarding.
Not so much, as I’ve joined almost from the public beta, and I’ve seen its improvement from the start.
Some users don’t find it easy to learn, as many actions are hidden in double-clicks and menus. Perhaps having a “tech dummy” option might help them at the beginning.
Miro has allowed us to work remotely and asynchronously with multiple clients in locations spread over 5 countries. It has allowed us to make better use of group time by allowing collaborative work based on the work done previously in the preparation of the sessions.

Comparatively, they are very different, since InVision has integrations with screen creation tools that allow direct communication about flows and logic. We only use Miro for the research and build phases, not for the validation and refinement phases.
Great for remote teams or teams with flexible office spaces that need a board to co-create and instantly share materials, insights & memes.
