Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Just used by one person to help with Kanban retrospectives and mind-mapping. We're looking at integrating it with Jira. We have also used it for Kanban training, and workshops.

Pros

  • Mindmapping.
  • Retrospectives.
  • Easy to use.

Cons

  • Sometimes the keyboard or mouse interactions are not intuitive if you have a non-standard mouse (like I do).
  • It has made brainstorming easier.
  • It has helped organise plans.
Of the tools like Miro, so far it is the best I've found. We haven't rolled it out, but getting others to share on boards is pretty easy and they seem to pick things up quickly.
No one has had major issues logging in or learning tool.
We haven't used it extensively on new projects, but it has helped with the one I'm working on.

Miro is easier to use for the whiteboard function and has more easy-to-use features.
Jira Software, Aras PLM, Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
Miro is well suited for brainstorming or any situation where you need a whiteboard, but because you're online because of lockdown.
