Miro in Design Classrooms
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Miro is used throughout George Brown College, especially in Design Programs. I ask students to develop user experiences for their media projects.
Pros
- Easy intuitive tools.
- A great number of templates to choose from.
- Easy sharing tools.
Cons
- Adding more image editing tools would be nice.
- Adding cropping tool for pictures.
- Audio recording options to add audio comments.
- A great tool to use in virtual classrooms when we can't all meet and talk in person.
- Improves students' understanding of media design.
- Helps think through issues in design.
I only use Miro in the classroom and without it, it would be impossible to teach media design. I looked around in search of a versatile online tool and Miro was the best I found.

- MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
Miro has a much better structure in terms of the location of projects. George Brown College also used Miro more in the past and trusts it.
