Overall Satisfaction with Miro

It is used as a tool to help organize interactive workshops with partners, for example, to get together requirements about a specific topic. Often such workshops are difficult to get all partners involved and be active. Miro is an easy tool, with which after 5 minutes everyone is able to participate in the different questions everyone needs to answer.

Miro is a very simple tool that can have a huge impact on a workshop or a meeting. Having different boards where you can prepare the meetings is a very helpful implementation as well as the print function which helps to document the workshop with nearly one click. The use of sticky notes and the easy navigation on the boards with the showing of the name helps a lot to navigate and helps the project manager to guide through the workshop.
The invitation of participants is very easy and a link leads them to the right board. For new customers of Miro, we needed to prepare a guide on how to use it in advance and you definitely need to give them some time to get the handling before you begin with the real workshop question. One good way is that all participants need to choose the colour of the sticky note and write down their names on it. For the workshop, it is better to have more than one leading person through the workshop so that one is always there to answer the questions or help with problems to handle Miro.
We use it for workshops and interns to talk about our current projects. We got good feedback whenever we used it in workshops from our partners and as it is easy to handle, the management of our projects in our weekly meeting is easy and well structured. It helped to give us more structure in workshops and is a tool that helps to make workshops more attractive, interesting, and interactive.

It is well suited if you have a workshop in which you want to be interactive. It requires some preparation, but miro helps to structure it properly and have a clear way through the workshop. It is also very helpful to have for example two boards and two groups if there are too many participants in the workshop, so you have to split it into two groups.
