Overall Satisfaction with Miro

It is used as a central tool across the entire company. It is often used for brainstorming, digital team events, or rough planning, but in the meantime, there are also many training courses that use Miro. For some, it has now replaced OneNote as a notepad, as texts and images can be edited more easily.

Pros

  • Great templates for tables, mind maps, and the like.
  • Easy editing of texts and images.
  • Fast, uncomplicated collaboration.

Cons

  • Performance problems in groups larger than 30 people.
  • Hidden and locked areas could work better.
  • Why can't guests give themselves a name?
  • Accelerates brainstorming.
  • More spontaneous virtual meetings, with documentation.
  • More space for creativity.
For me, as a user, there were no problems whatsoever. Miro works well with both the browser and the client. Regular updates bring new features and fix minor bugs. Regarding the further introduction in our company or purchasing, I, unfortunately, have no insight. We have been using the tool for a while now, so I think there are few difficulties here either.
For me as a user, the first contact in the browser was great because it doesn't require any installation. The installation of the client went without any problems. The guide at the beginning explains the most important tips and tricks, so you could move around the tool quickly and safely.
Miro has led to more meetings with us, in which people not only speak but can also document them at the same time. In addition, creative meetings have increased and it was easy to collaborate and practice in training courses, as the preparation of such training with Miro is not particularly difficult.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Except for Miro, I didn't have any tools of this kind to choose from. The decision in favor of Miro was not made by me in our company, but centrally. But since Miro met all the needs of a creative tool for me, I never asked for an alternative or actively looked for it.
Miro works best when you want to collect, structure, and document ideas for a topic in a small group. Training in small groups, in which the learners should participate, works just as well. What Miro is currently not suitable for are team meetings of more than 30 people. There are too many performance problems here.
