Overall Satisfaction with Miro

It is being quickly adopted across our entire organization for a myriad of purposes. IT teams use it for sprints and agile decisions, while product teams use it for brainstorming and creative think tanks. There are also teams who use it as an icebreaker for new projects as well as project management.
  • Mind mapping.
  • Live brainstorming.
  • Flowcharts.
  • Icebreakers.
  • Meeting management.
  • App integration.
  • More Office 365 integration.
  • Reduced time on decision-making.
  • Better agile product management.
  • More employee engagement.
As one of the people involved with the implementation, I would say that adoption and interest caught on quickly. I feel that there was a lot of training and exposure both beforehand and currently to keep word-of-mouth going and we are seeing rapid growth as a result.
The only barrier to integration has been confusion over the licensing structure, but we are currently working on making steps to make this easier for our users.
Miro has replaced other tools, especially for whiteboarding and collaboration. Project teams are using Miro exclusively to brainstorm and get the adoption of project ideas and next steps.

  • MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
Miro is rapidly adapting and changing to meet customer needs. That includes integration with other 3rd party tools and new and improved meeting abilities, where Mural seems to be more stuck in whiteboarding.
Miro is very well suited as a meeting tool for keeping attendees engaged and contributing, rather than just watching one speaker talk over a PowerPoint presentation. If I were to pick one area where it may be less useful or appropriate it would probably be on 1-to-1 meetings.
