Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Miro was introduced during the pandemic as a means to collaborate effectively across regions. It has been used in various teams and uses cases across the organization, including facilitating group projects, training, and team ideation, e.g. on how to do things better in 2022.
Pros
- Collecting and organizing inputs from a multiple people.
- Visualizing ideas and inputs across teams with a significant amount of complexity in a framework that makes it digestible.
- The user interface is extremely intuitive and easy to use.
Cons
- Very specific input - click and drag should move the board vs. click+shift.
- Provide a means to start with a zoomed-out view of a board with some call out (e.g. headline) for each area to make zooming in and finding the content you want easier.
- Miro has effectively enhanced our team productivity.
- In addition to productivity, it has helped contribute to a positive team culture by giving all team members a voice.
- We've used agile to train our global marketing team on agile best practices.
Miro has been extremely effective as a tool to enable and improve cross-regional collaboration. We have team members in the US, various countries in Western Europe, and across Asia. The ability to share inputs and ideas through Miro has been a big plus as we've started using the tool on our team in 2021.
