Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We are a team that combines ideas in a collaborative environment to generate and support cutting-edge research in cancer detection and treatment. After the pandemic hit, we found it challenging to discuss ideas and work together without all of us being in one room. Miro helped make our virtual interactions seamless and dynamic.
  • Mind Maps
  • Dynamic Whiteboard with an Infinite Canvas
  • Pre-designed templates to help with SWOT and other analysis
  • I would like to see Miro work like Prezi - allowing us to have a presentation mode that can replace more rigid linear narratives that are associated with PowerPoint and KeyNote, and stop at each "slide"/frame to edit/add content.
  • Link to documents in OneDrive / SharePoint / DropBox / Google Drive will allow all collaborators to have access to the same files.
  • I would love to see equitable and inclusive "complementary" access to full features for research teams with limited funding, and a good cause (like ours - cancer detection and treatment in children).
  • Intuitive collaboration leading to better productivity.
  • Made a global team possible - working to build one concept parallelly from different time zones, and without a schedule.
  • With a global team, the was no way to measure contribution. We would like to see a way to identify/review the change/contribution each team member put into each project.
Miro is easy to use.
Well - it made our collaboration easier.

Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), OneDrive, Microsoft Powerpoint
Miro is most appropriate in situations where a team is scattered around the globe and cannot physically meet together. Our team uses it to brainstorm and find it best to use when we are each on our own devices. It sometimes gets complicated to use when we want to make a presentation about our ideas, and we frequently have to rely on screenshots in PowerPoint. It would be ideal if Miro were to have a presentation mode too, moving in a sequence of predetermined frames - like Prezi set out to do, but better.
