Miro, your collaborative swiss-army knife
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Miro is a great tool for brainstorming workflows and digital discussion on processes or reviewing ideas. The ease of use allows it to be shared with others who may have not used Miro before but can jump in and immediately be a contributor to the ideas being reviewed and evaluated. Framing also helps to walk through ideas in small chunks as opposed to seeing everything all at one and the PDF export of that is a great resource as well.
Pros
- Brainstorming
- Workflows
- Collaberation
- Ideation
Cons
- Pen input needs better support with something like the iPad, especially with post its.
- Frames work better via the PDF export as opposed to in the application.
- Storyboarding is not all that easy.
- Ease of use increases productivity
- ROI is almost immediate based on clear/clean UI
- Reduced project issues due to collaborative nature of developing group spaces
It has helped bring our story boarding and workshops to a digital tool that highly represents and matches the in-person process and that we can combine between groups.
