Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I practically use Miro every step of the way! As a Scrum Master, I often have to facilitate meetings with various topics and people. In the beginning, as a free user, I had 3 boards set up with 3 different areas of my work (personal level, team level, and organization level). In this setup, I used frames to separate topics inside each board. Later, our organization upgraded the plan and I became available to create numerous boards and organize them into different projects. It is very useful because you can dedicate a single board to a single workshop or a series of single-themed workshops and share the board specifically with the participants (which was not the case in the free version set-up where the whole boards have been shared to all the stakeholders with the specified link to their frame but they were able to navigate other frames and get confused). Miro is a very powerful digital vision board and it quickly became one of my favorite online tools!
Pros
- Create online whiteboards with sticky notes
- Share the board with the relevant people
- Save time by using a template
Cons
- Zooming in and out is sometimes confusing. Some board items are zoomed in and when you create a new frame, it looks like a barely visible dot
- Improved productivity
- Improved collaboration
- Enhanced visualization
We recently started working on a new project and decided to capitalize on Miro from the very beginning. It was our first time to visualize business process flow inside Miro and now we have a very good artifact to which we often come back to during the project to update and develop it further.
