Overall Satisfaction with Miro

It is critical for the collaboration between product and engineering teams, for the design process, and during the discovery and ideation phases. Miro helps design our APIs data flows, our user stories, and virtual agents. Miro means less email and message exchanges, as we broadly use the comments to share feedback

Pros

  • Allows for quick adoption as it is easy to use
  • The extensibility through the use of Apps
  • The collaboration capabilities with voting, comments, the collaborator's cursors view, etc.

Cons

  • It would be great if we could add our own library of icons/images to facilitate the creation of diagrams aligned with the company brand.
  • Impact on Meeting Productivity
  • Better collaboration during ideation/discovery phases of the design process
As it is a SaaS application it is as easy as it gets.
As it integrates seamlessly with Jira and Slack it is really easy to use with our set of tools.
It has benefited us during our design process as we are working remotely. It allows for productive meetings, helping define actionable outcomes, with proper ownership.

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

It is great to ensure that we take the most of our remote meetings. Having a Miro board with the topics with want to discuss prior to the meeting, and having diagrams to support ideas and solutions makes it easier for attendees to be engaged ensuring productivity. During the meeting, we take assign ownership for any actions and after the meeting, it's the place where we can track progress.
