Good tool for a specific task. Otherwise, in 2022 it feels more like a gimmick with a subscription fee.

Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I'm not using Miro anymore, but when I was, it was mostly as a replacement of the whiteboard with stickers for retrospectives and brainstorms when we were all working remotely. Also I was trying to use it for things like a visual representation of charts and collaboration artifacts. At this moment it failed, as the access to the product and editing rights are not as straightforward and require intervention from the admin for the most part and ain't nobody got time for that.
Pros
- Linking objects to arrows
- Providing templates
Cons
- The work with plans, teams, team spaces etc.
- 403 errors when using SSO (app not assigned) for some users.
- I don't understand, why suddenly I can't create additional boards, even if for myself, when the team reached the limit. I want a draft, me only – why not? I screwed up the team docks because of that.
- Can't say it had any. We switched to several other tools instead, and it didn't change a thing.
- I doubt it ever returned initial costs. Again, taking into account that the company already has several competitive tools that do exactly the same thing (plus more).
At first, years ago, it was a game changer when it was free. Now it's just another thing that people use to draw a small diagram, screenshot it and send to colleagues.
Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?
No
Are you happy with Miro's feature set?
Yes
Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Miro go as expected?
No
Would you buy Miro again?
No
Somewhat better work with organization of information on a board and arrow/object connections. Good templates. It's a very specific tool for specific tasks. I don't feel like I need an electron microscope. I feel like what the team needs is a multitool.
