Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for our plannings and for scrum ceremonies. The teams can define their objectives and we can link dependencies with other teams. This helps everyone be aware of what should be done after the planning and how their work affects other teams. We also went for dynamics to improve relationship between the team.

Pros

  • Planning
  • Risk mapping
  • Presentation dynamics

Cons

  • Improve Voting System
  • Performance when a lot of people are using
  • Hide boards for certain people
  • Reduced planning time
  • Helped improve team relationship
  • Helped define better tasks
I didn't use many of these features, but it works very well with Google Suite. I know that a lot of plug-ins exist with a wide variety of applications, but for my use case, I don't use any besides Google Integration.
We have people from all over the world in our project, so, using Miro in our meetings improves the communication a lot. Everyone can express themselves better. Everyone can contribute and see our next objectives for the semester. We can map risks and the whole team is aware of them.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is well suited for planning work with a lot of people interacting. For any work that requires a shared environment for people to give their opinion, I would use Miro. Maybe it is not well suited if the needs are text only, but if it is not, if it involves post-its, drawings, I think Miro is the best tool.
