Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is a great tool when facilitating online workshops with lots of interactions and audience participation.

I’ve used Miro to conduct a brand strategy workshop with clients to define their brand values and personality. It was easily adapted by the clients even if it was their first time using it.

I’ve also used Miro to hold an interactive learning session for colleagues in my department on frameworks. It was a great tool to keep them engaged with exercises where they could immediately apply the lessons.

Pros

  • Pre-made templates of common use cases
  • Easy to learn and use by both host and participants
  • Built in workshop features like Timer

Cons

  • Need more easy to understand “Primer” videos for participants who haven’t used it before, for specific use cases
  • Make the right templates easier to find
  • Facilitate cross-sharing of Miro applications within organisation
  • Faster alignment on business decisions
  • Easier collaboration
  • Improved capabilities
Quick and easy implementation
It takes a bit of research and playing around with the platform to get familiar with it at the start. But as long as you’ve used other similar presentation tools, it’s fairly easy to get the hang of.
Miro was a useful tool to facilitate a virtual training session for colleagues sitting across multiple locations.

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro was much easier to use than MURAL. The user interface and the way things are presented for hosts and audiences are much more intuitive and functional. MURAL had me and participants confused. I’ve stopped using it and switched to Miro.
Miro is great when you need to engage with your audiences with real-time interaction (surveys, exercises, brainstorming). It’s less appropriate when your presentation is mainly one-way sharing and not much audience participation. Audiences must also be digitally savvy and familiar with using software applications like Microsoft, and Google Suites so they will find it easy to participate.
