Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro throughout the software development lifecycle. I use it on several occasions, from structured workshops such as ideation workshops to unstructured, spontaneous conversations, as a whiteboard. I use Miro as a way to build a shared understanding among everyone involved in a project through the use of visuals.

Pros

  • Quick mapping.
  • Useful templates.
  • Strong comment feature.

Cons

  • Platform navigation and information architecture. It's not easy to find boards sometimes.
  • Better ways to organize content. The projects are nice. If I have too many the UI will become a nightmare.
  • Improved productivity.
  • Better alignment, less back and forth.
One of the big perks is the ability to share with people who might not have an account.
It has helped communicate ideas, get people working together, and build a shared understanding.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro has a much better user experience and makes it much easier to share work with colleagues.
In general, it's a great tool. I find it super useful for - ideation workshops - user journey mapping - systems mapping - UX research cluster analysis - during a meeting, and as a whiteboard.
