Good for remote discussions!
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro as a whiteboard for sharing and discussion with colleagues. My colleagues may be from different locations and countries. And we work in different time zones. We need a product like Miro to visually share information and ideas within the group and help document our thinking process.
In my case, I use Miro to visualize the assembly process of a new product, to help determine the correct flow, and to determine what is required and what challenges we face. It can help us communicate our proposals such that all the in the team can see what we are thinking.

Pros
- Straightforward to use.
- Fast to share.
- Expandable.
Cons
- Difficult to date additions.
- Not clear on how to use as documentation, e.g. Minutes of meeting.
- Sometimes sharing a link does not not work. Not clear who has access.
- It helps discussions, especially when our teammates are spread over several countries.
- It is not so widespread, so the take up is low, and there are other similar apps and products, so there is no real driving force to learn or use yet another app.
We are working on a new project. We are conceptualizing the process flow, how things fit together, what methods to use, etc. And it helps to have everyone see what everyone else is doing or thinking. Miro helps, to an extent especially since our teammates may hail from other countries.
Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?
Not sure
Are you happy with Miro's feature set?
No
Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Miro go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Miro again?
No
It is hard to compare as there is overlap in the features, and often the features are complementary. Feature-wise, Miro seems a little light.
